Tomomasa Yokomizo is a Lecturer at Tokyo Women’s Medical University. His research focuses on the hematopoietic stem cell and hematopoietic system formation during embryonic development. He obtained his Ph.D. from Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University. He pursued his postdoctoral work at the University of Tsukuba (under Dr. Satoru Takahashi), at Erasmus Medical Center in the Netherlands (under Dr. Elaine Dzierzak) and at National University of Singapore (under Dr. Motomi Osato and Dr. Daniel G. Tenen). In 2012, he was appointed as Assistant Professor at Juntendo University School of Medicine (2012-2014) and at Kumamoto University (2015-2021).
