Aibin He

Aibin He is a Professor at College of Future Technology of Peking University, with a joint appointment at Peking-Tsinghua Center for Life Sciences. He obtained his PhD in Molecular Biology at Peking Union Medical College, and did his postdoc training with Dr. William T. Pu at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. The He lab is interested in developing novel single-cell omics and imageomics tools in dissecting gene regulation and cell behaviors sculpting the processes of tissue formation and regeneration after injury. Towards these goals, his lab has developed several novel technologies, such as single-cell ChIP-seq (sc-itChIP, CoBATCH and CoTECH) and in toto live-imaging and digital lineage reconstructions of mouse embryo development. He strives to invent new single-cell multi-omics approaches to bridge the gap between transcriptome and chromatin regulome for deciphering mysteries in cell fate decisions in physiological and pathological contexts.
