Haojian Zhang

Dr. Haojian Zhang is a professor in Frontier Science Center for Immunology and Metabolism，Medical Research Institute, Wuhan University，China. He achieved the Ph.D. degree from University of Massachusetts Medical School, U.S.A., in 2012, and completed his Postdoctoral training in Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School from 2012 to 2016. He joined Wuhan University in 2016. Current research in his laboratory mainly focuses on RNA biology and hematopoietic stem cell biology, especially on dissecting the cellular and molecular states during hematopoiesis and leukemogenesis and exploring the molecular mechanisms of normal hematopoietic stem cell and leukemia stem cell maintenance. Dr. Zhang has published many papers in top journals, such as Nature Genetics, Cell Stem Cell, Blood.
